Favorite Artist:

My favorite artist is Vincent van Gogh. He was born on March 30,1853, placing him in the post-impression category. His work was influenced by Claude Monet, Paul Cezanne, and Rembrant. Many of van Gogh's works included portraits, self-portraits, landscapes, and still lifes. He died on July 29, 1890. Some of his most famous works include Starry  Night, Bedroom in Arles, and his self portrait. Although I like many of his works, he is my favorite artist for another reason. Van Gogh's artistry is distinct. He found a way to do something he loved and incorporated a uniqueness that allowed everything to represent him. His work has  been very influential on the 20th and 21st century, and I feel, on me as an individual.
